May is not only National Duckling Month but also National Egg Month. What better way to start the month than with a craft that celebrates both!?
Duckling Eggs in Nest Craft
by: J. Davis
-light blue and white (more like off-white) construction paper
1. Cut 2 eggs out of white construction paper and glue them onto the middle of the light blue paper.
2. Wrap brown yarn around your hand about 20 times. Cut the yarn in the middle of your palm and then cut the strips of yarn in half.
3. Create a nest shape out of glue surrounding your eggs. Smear with finger (or a brush) to make a solid patch (nest) of glue.
4. Drop yarn pieces on glue. Press down after you have the glue mostly covered to adhere yarn to the glue.
