We made this camera today to take animal pictures at the “zoo”.
June is National Zoo month (along with National Aquarium Month which we celebrated last week). To finish out June we will be making zoo related crafts.
Quick Zoo Animal Mask
by: J Davis
-animal face plates (found at Walmart)
-yarn or elastic
1. Cut eye holes for child to see out of.
2. Punch a hole in the middle of each side of the mask. Thread elastic or yarn through and fit over child’s face to determine length. Secure yarn or elastic.
3. Have fun making your own zoo!
Cute snack idea to go with this week’s theme!
Found this cute idea that is perfect for National Aquarium Month at http://www.enchantedlearning.com/crafts/diorama/aquarium/. We used leftover Finding Nemo napkins and cups to fill the inside of ours!
Using white construction paper and a brown crayon we made an octopus modeled after an idea from http://www.dltk-kids.com/animals/moctopus.html.
